Not all shilohs are created equal. At Genesis Shilohs our focus is on
temperament, health, size, substance and heads. Though we successfully show our
dogs and have produced multiple Canadian Champions, American
Champions, International Champions, Grand Champions and Top Dogs- we do not focus on winning in the show
ring, where the focus is almost solely on floating movement but instead focus on
producing pups that line up with the breed standard for size, structure and
temperament. I am proud of the quality of the breedings I do,
highly researched breedings with quality studs; temperament always being my
number one focus. At Genesis Shilohs our dogs consistently
have the best heads around -blocky, large heads with wide muzzles. We
encourage visitors to our home to see firsthand the quality of our dogs, the
beautiful temperaments they possess and the conditions they live in.
We demand the best from ourselves and you can expect the best from us.
At Genesis Shilohs we are passionate about our dogs, we raise them in our home as valuable
members of our family - they are never tied, kenneled or crated. We

“OK so it’s just a dog….well…just a dog brings into my life the very
essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy. He may not be my
whole life but he makes my life whole”. I owe a lot to Michelle and Todd
for the very fine start they gave my Sully (formerly blue boy from
Zeus/Hope), 8 months old now and who happened to be the only smooth coat
from that litter. I’d waited a very long time to make one of these fine
animals a part of my household and researched the breed for over 3 years
before deciding this was the dog for me…I can honestly say I do not regret
one moment. These dogs are so remarkable that even as young as 8 weeks
when we got him, people could not believe how calm and laid back he is.
Truly these sweet tempered beasts are the ‘gentle giants’ of the dog
world. I recommend one to everyone I meet and that’s a lot of people
